Daydream Believers is a non-profit educational organisation that teaches young people to develop creative, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills through freely accessible and engaging project-based learning challenges. 

Since 1962, D&AD has been inspiring a community of creative thinkers by celebrating the finest creativity in design and advertising. The D&AD Awards are recognised globally as the ultimate creative accolade for professionals.

In 2023, these two organisations launched a new award aimed at inspiring young people aged 11 to 18 to tackle serious challenges by using their brave and creative ideas to inspire change in their local communities and the world. 

 

Calumma assisted in writing and designing a comprehensive learning resource that guides students through the creative process to come up with their response to the brief set out to them by the organisations and their partners–WPP & adidas.

Expanding Brave Ideas

Following the announcement of the winners of the first-year awards, Daydream Believers invited design agencies from across the UK – StudioLR, Leith Agency, MadeBrave, Emperor and Bond and Coyne – to develop the winning student ideas into campaigns. This film was made to tell the story of when the winners saw their brave ideas take flight!
